Old Town and Josefov
The Old Town Square with the astronomical clock, Josefov and the Jewish Museum next to it, then the Klementinum with its baroque library. It ends on Charles Bridge — crowded at sunset, which is also when it is worth it.

Prague Castle
A full day on the left bank: the Castle, St Vitus Cathedral, the Golden Lane. After coming down, the climb up Petřín to the tower, where the city appears whole.

New Town and Vyšehrad
Wenceslas Square with the National Museum, then the Dancing House by the river. Vyšehrad is off to the side and easier by metro: a fortress, a cemetery and a view over the bend in the river.
